Delta is first and foremost the story of three climbing enthusiasts united by the same dream: to make training accessible, modular and environmentally friendly for every climber, wherever they are. We're not just a brand of equipment; we're a team of climbers who, like you, are constantly striving to progress, to push back our limits, and to adapt our practice to an urban lifestyle.
Born of our desire to meet the real needs of climbers, Delta was created to offer unique solutions that integrate harmoniously into living spaces. Our products, such as Deltaboard and Deltabase, are designed to grow with you, combining quality, innovation and durability.
Behind every Delta product is a passion for climbing and a sincere commitment to our community.
And who are the faces behind Delta? Meet Noé, Théodore and Samuel, three committed climbers whose unique backgrounds have brought this adventure to life.
Noé YDAIS
Noé began by studying science before entering engineering school. However, working in a large company didn't give him the meaning he was looking for. He felt deeply frustrated, seeing himself confined to tasks far removed from his technical skills and his need to create. Climbing became an escape, then a true passion, occupying a central place in his life.
Entrepreneurship was a natural next step, enabling him to turn his desire to create into reality. At the same time, Noé worked at Arkose as a receptionist and, in 2024, successfully completed the Climb Up opener training course.
Since September 2024, he has once again devoted all his time to Delta, where his passion and experience are fully expressed. Noé is now a qualified climbing opener.
"Climbing has taught me to go beyond my limits, and Delta is the natural extension of this personal journey," he confides.
Samuel MEDVEDOWSKY
Samuel is the team's creative director. A passionate web designer, he pursued his career while investing in the Delta adventure. He is the architect of Delta's emblematic visual image: from logo to graphic charter, from website to social networks.
A climber himself, Samuel knows how important aesthetics are when it comes to training tools.
Still a designer and artistic director at Metalab, he now lives in the French Alps, where he can easily climb and ski in the great outdoors.
"For me, every product has to inspire, and that's what I strive to achieve," shares Samuel, putting all his talent at the service of Delta's visibility and identity.
Théodore RABY
Théodore, who also trained as an aeronautical engineer, quickly felt the need to give more meaning to his initial career. His passion for climbing prompted him to change direction, obtaining a state diploma to become a climbing coach. His dual skills as an engineer and coach bring Delta a unique vision: technically reliable products perfectly adapted to climbers.
Today, Théodore is a full-time climbing coach, training athletes in preparation for the French senior team. After being in charge of climbing courses at Climb Up Porte d'Italie, he continues to work as a route designer in climbing gyms.
Although he no longer works directly for Delta due to his full-time commitment as a coach, Theodore is still part of the team. He is often called upon for his invaluable climbing coaching expertise on small assignments.
"Helping others to progress has always been a source of motivation for me," explains Théodore, now a well-known figure in the climbing world.
Noé and Théodore met while studying science at university, where they shared a budding passion for climbing. This passion grew as more and more climbing gyms opened in France, particularly in urban areas.
A few years later, it was during a training session at Théodore's Paris apartment that the idea for Delta took shape. They were dreaming of a practical, modular solution for training without drilling holes all over their home. The desire to create a product that could adapt training to individual needs, without constraints, was the starting point for Delta.
Samuel, a long-time friend and member of their climbing group, soon joined them to bring this vision to life with his design and other skills.
